CEL proudly announces the launching of its mobile phone based software. The software is capable of capturing Order/Sales/Market Survey information through a simple application in the mobile phone. Low cost GPRS enabled mobile phones are good enough for this operation. The data can be sent to central server by SMS or web (both automatically from the application).

A formal lunch was hosted by Nestle Bangladesh Limited to launch the new Development and Support Agreement between CEL and Nestle. The agreement became operative from 1.8.2008

A final demonstration of the Retail Sales Management Software has been done to the top officials of Transcom Electronics Limited today. It was decided that the pilot operation of the software will commence immediately at two Showrooms. In the same meeting CEL presented its understanding and views on the envisaged Hire Purchase software for TEL. CEL is expected to come up with a concrete proposal for the software by next week.

A review of the software of Service Management System for Transcom Electronics Limited has been done today. COO of Transcom Electronics Limited was present. It has been decided that a second phase development process of the software will be commenced shortly to address requirements of new functionalities.

A demonstration of the HR system has been done to the Transcom Group today. Chief Operating Officers, General Manager Finance and HR officials from different concerns of Transcom Group were present.
